Hip Hopping Friday with a big BANG!

Warning...
This is a lengthy post but WORTH sticking it out until the end!!!
I am so excited... I just got some new toys in the mail.
I just got This BABY!

I have wanted on for awhile now and got it for a steal on eBay!

I also just got this amazing Unity set! The Artist in You by Donna Downey
I have wanted this set for awhile and I finally gave in. Oh Boy am I happy it did!
I also got 7 packages of gemstones from Scrapbooking Supplies for next to nothing.
Lastly, I got my KOTM!!!

OMG!! Have you seen this set! I love it! That is nothing new becuase I LOVE each and every kit that I have received and I have over 12 now!!!

So what did I make for the hop?  Well you know how it is when you get a stamp set.... it screams for ink!
First I decided to use my KOTM stamps! I used this adorable bird! I colored it in with my copics (R32- peach, RV11- pink, V06-lavendar, B14- light blue, B01-mint blue and T0-toner gray). Before I started to color I used ColorBox Azurite chalk ink which happens to be ready for embossing powder. Yes, I added some clear embossing powder to my cute little bird. It's very hard to tell but it is embossed.  I added my gems and cut it out and adhered it with glue dots.

Here is the card-

I used my scor-pal on the bottom of my card for some dimension. I then added some gems... I just love these guys.  My last step was to add my sentiment stamp!

Of course knowing this was a big day for me (you must continue reading), I decided to make another card. I thought I would use the get sketchy sketch for the Ippity challenge. I made this card with that...

Only after I finished it did I foolishly realize... DAH!!! I was suppose to use my Ippity stamps. See I was so anxious to use my Donna Downey set, The Artist in You set that it slipped my mind.  I used my cosmo criket paper and ribbon, my chalk inks and one of my already made flowers.  I was of course in desperate need to use my new Copic air brush system so I added some color to my flower! Those little gem flowers are from the new ones I just received in the mail today!

Well 2 last things...

It's Monday and that means it is time for some Ippity Hip Hop!!!

Happy Monday ladies! Another Monday has some and so has a little creation with Ippity.  My wonderful husband Aaron and I donate our time to cook a gourmet meal that is auctioned off at a Catholic Charities event. Friends of ours buy everything and host it at their home and we do all of the cooking.  My husband LOVES to cook so this is a great opportunity for him to make things that he normally wouldn't. The menu was 6 courses and amazing.

Anyway, the couple that won the dinner brought little gifts for everyone.  She gave me a gift bag filled with bath and body works signature collection items. So I needed to make a card to say thanks.  I wanted something simple that I could give as a thank you so I made some thank you sets to say Thanks!

Hip Hopping Friday with a little Seed of Hope!

Happy Friday and welcome to another Unity Hip Hop!
Have you seen their new blog! OMG!!! It is pretty amazing!

While you're checking things out... how about this card I made?

I used Papertrey Ink paper, Making memories dp, chalk inks, spellbinder dies, a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and SU's oval punch and scalloped border punch.   My inks are all chalk inks that I am currently in love with!!! I also colored in the heart with my copic glitter pen.
My layout is based off of the Mojo Monday sketch but my card was inspired by Maria's card.

My stamps of course are UNITY!!! KOM to be exact!

Well I hope you like the card! And I hope you enjoy today's hop!

Another Monday to Hip Hop Away!

Happy Monday! Wow are things busy! I did get to create on Friday which was nice. I hope to get that up and posted this week.

Well last week you saw one of my frames. I mentioned that I made two of them and this post shares my other frame.

I used my wonderful Ippity Because of You set. I created the flower myself and used my Stampin Up butterfly die to create my butterflies. The paper is cosmo cricket and the other items are generic purchased from Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Here we are again, I just love this photo. It is my backgrond on my computer and my i phone. We had such a wonderful weekend this Valentine's day  that this frame really puts my feelings into one little saying. He really does make good times great. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband.

On to some close ups...

There is is... I hope you like it.  I really enjoyed making these frames.  Check out my blog later this week to see the art work I made for my bathroom.  Love it!
Have a wonderful Monday and make sure to check out all of the great work.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the new sets which are being debuted today but you can see them at a number of the other talent along the hop!

Hippity Hop Monday

Another Monday means the beginning of another week!

I decided to branch out from the typical cards and stated playing with some picture frames that I purchased from Micheal's for $1.00.

I used some dp and other embilishments and a little bit of glue.  Next thing you know I have this frame.  I am really happy with the end product. I
The Ippity stamp I used was from the "Straight from the Heart" set.

I would share the other one I did but my husband took the charger for the camera so I wasn't able to download or shoot some more.

Here is a little close up of the heart I used - it is wood finished with paper.  I added some rubons from my stash and did some faux stitching around the heart.

Enjoy! And make sure to check out all of the other great work.  I will try to get my other frame up later this week.

Have a great one!

Hippity Ippity Hop with a little love!

Happy Monday Ippity Stlye!  Since it is the season of LOVE I decided to use my amazing Ippity sets with hearts.  I went with the Straight from the heart and Becuase of you sets. I just love these sets.  I used the Love stamp on the left side of my card and the Hello stamps for my sentiment.  I also used the Heart from Straight from the heart set on the background and at my main heart with bling! I adorned this heart with 3 different colors of rhinestones that I got at Michael's today. They are 40% off!!! Thank go because it took a lot little rhinestones.  I think it was 52 in all.  I like it but don't think I will be doing it again.  I used two different colors of pink and the black.  I like red and black together so I thought I would give it a try.  The pink heart in the middle is from Martha Stewart embellishments that I bought last week when they were on sale.

Now for the rest of the card. I used SU paper and ribbon. If you look closely the white paper is actually shimmery white. I also used my pink and clear copic glitter pens to add some glitter to the hearts.  The ink is all colorbox chalk inks. I am really loving the coverage with these inks. I scored on a bunch of full pads from Tuesday morning a while back and have purchased some more colors with a 50% coupon from Michael's (those cat eye sets).

Well I think that is about it.I hope you like my card and don't forget to check out all of the other talent today!

Don't forget that you can get these amazing stamps from me by checking it out right here!  Just ask your self, Have I seized my Ippity yet?  Well if you said no, what are you waiting for!

Today is also MLK Day so as a teacher I have the day off!!! I hope to get some crafting done and hope you have a wonderful week!
