Another Great Friday with Unity Friends!

It is late Thursday night as I type this so I apologize for the not including details. I made this card for the family of one of my students (a 7th grade boy). His father passed away Tuesday. I don't like the sympathy cards that are all sad and stuff. Dying is about celebrating ones life and I felt this card was appropriate. I hope you like it. I will try to add more details later.

Here are some more of the details -
My paper is from Michael's and I believe it is K & Co but it's at home and I am at school right now. :)
More importantly the stamp is from Unity of course - it is the from the Quote Bundle Pack which is 50% off right now! This set is a must have for anyone who loves quotes!!

The butterfly (large) is a sizzix die from SU and the little ones are from a Martha Stewart punch. I used misc. bling that I have in my stash. The cordoroy button is SU and the flower is Making memories (I think).

Thanks for all of the wonderful comments! They are truely apprecited.

Happy Friday!

Oh my, I teach 7th graders also. I'm so sorry to hear of your students loss. These things are so very difficult to handle and to see such young kids have to handle this so early is horribly hard. My thoughts are with you as well. I'm sure this card will bring comfort to the family.

I so agree - lives are to be celebrated, and I think this will lift his spirits. It's so sad that he's lost his father so early in his life. Big hugs to you and all those who try to fill the void. Beautiful card!
