Hello ladies and HAPPY Friday!!!
I am so stinkin' excited to share with you the amazing set I bought at Archivers this past Sunday.(and will be back for the Unity Trunk show)
They were having a Tim Holtz demo and I just recently started buying his products
(have you seen his sizzix dies... they are to die for)
I have never been to Archivers before so I thought what the heck... it's only 2 hours away right? lol
So I lined a a couple of friends for the trip... they bailed... I went alone!
It was a nice drive and I have started book 5 in the Woman's Murder Club by James Patterson.
I made a few wrong turns but safely arrived at Archivers. Boy was I excited.
When I walked in I immediately saw the Cosmo Paper that I have been dying to get.
So what do I do... Pick some up for purchase of course.
I then contined to look around and what did my eyes spy
UNITY STAMPS!!!
So I went over there with the hopes of picking up one of the Donna Downey sets I don't have.
NO LUCK :(
But to my surprise I see a label that includes Cosmo Cricket!!! They have the stamps.
But wait a minute...
I didn't think they were out yet.
At that point I didn't care because I was getting my grubby little hands on some! :)
SO I added the Garden Variety set to my basket and contimplated over the other...
2 SETS that coordinate with the Material Girl paper and goodies!!
As I was on a budget :(
I only went with the one set... but OMG was I excited!!!
So without further ado....
How cute is that bee? I used my copic glitter pens to color the yellow on the body and then some clear on the wings.
Everything is Cosmo Cricket and Unity except for the brad (hobby lobby) and the twine which I won on a blog.
Now for one more (becuase I left the other one I made in my classroom and I won't be back at school tomorrow but I promise to post it later next week).
I bought some templates to do the butterfly at Archivers - one of my many wonderful items that I scored on!
This isn't my favorite card but it works. I also picked up the chipboard pcs (that is the flower pot).
The card I made that is at school is with the cow! Way too cute!
Well there you have it... another peek at the new Unity/Cosmo stamps and papers! I am in love!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Mine would be even better if we get lucky and find some Morel Mushrooms (MMMMM)!
Later - ~jennine
