Dawn McCevey Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #14

This card uses SU Stampin Up paper and Dawn's own Mod Squad and my nestabilities. I punched out the front of the card and stamped my image inside. The size of the card is 4.24 square. The base is cream SU paper.

More great stamps by Dawn & PI. I used the Polka Dot Basics II and Mod Squad sets. My background was created with the polka dot set and SU Rose Red and Mambo Melon ink. I used the SU paper for my frame and some cream paper to stamp on and cream ribbon both by SU. The base card us SU Rose Red paper.

I have only had one other chance to enter this challenge despite the fact that I am a huge fan and was aware of the other 13 challenges. Time.... there is never enough is there?

I hope you like!

I won!!!

I won a Unity Stamp set for this card. Just one of the many reasons to LOVE Unity!!!

HI!

Here are 2 of my cards for the 2 sketches for you challenge. The first "HI" card was made with Chloe's closet paper and alpha letters only!!! I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Here is a close up of the HI. I love the canvas look of these alphas!
Here is my second card. It is a double challenge card. The layout is for the 2s4y but everything else had the Unity Guest Designer in mind. It is a 1,2,3 challenge. 1 stamp (relax from the June Kit of the month), my 2 dp's from K & Co's lemon drop and lastly my 3 embellishments (the cut out flower from the paper and the two pins that I used for the butterfly antenna) I was going to use hemp twine when I saw the pins sitting here and thought they were perfect! I just used a large square pop up and put them into that. It worked great!
Here is a close up of the butterfly. The tips of the pins were white but I rubbed them in my ink pad to give them a little color.
My supplies were Melon Mambo and Old Olive ink, the DP from K & Co, my nestabilities and the pins.
What do you think?

Unity Guest Designer Challenge!!!

Well I finally made it to the craft room and I went to town! I haven't been able to create in almost 5 days and I was starting to go through withdrawals. I was on card 5 when my friend Kathy called and needed my help with setting up her e-mail. After 35 minutes on the phone I hung up and headed over to her house. Passwords can be such a pain sometimes....

Anyway I hope you enjoy my cards as I am very excited about the turn out.

So here are the rules for the challenge.... it is a 1...2...3 challenge which means you can only use the following:

1 stamp (can stamp multiple times) & must be from the June or July Kit of the Month.

2 designer paper

3 embellishments

Here is one of my teapot cards. I used craft paper and designer paper from Making Memories called Chloe's Closet. I have had this paper for a long time but this is the first time I have used it. I really like it. I knew there was a reason I bought this paper in the first place. The brad is from Stampin up and the flower is K & Company. I used my teapot from the June Kit of the Month. I used 2 different dp's from Chloe's closet and my three embellishments are 1, the flower, 2 the brad and 3 the glitter added to the tea pot. I also colored the teapot with copic blues B32 and 34. The ink used is Memento, rich cocoa for the main stamp and a desert sand for the background pots.

Here is my other teapot card. Almost everything I used is the same except I added hemp twine as my third embellishment instead of the glitter. I also used different DP from Chloe's closet. I colored in the tea pot with 2 yellows from my copic collection and a light green. I put all my markers back before writing them down so I can't give you the exact numbers. Sorry.

Well these are my first two entries into the Unity Guest Designer Challenge.... more to come!
