Unity's Monthly challenge is all about the bird!! Here is another card that I made for the challenge. You should check out all the amazing talent. There have been over 100 submissions.

I used this itty bitty for this card.
Are they not the cutest chicks or what.

Here is what I did with them.

I stamped and cut out the chicks. I colored them using my copic glitter pens.
This card was so easy and so fun!!

Have a great Mothers Day to all you moms out there!!

Happy Birthday Girl Friend!

Well I haven't had a whole lot of time in the craft room.

You see it's in my basement and my husband is re-doing our hardwood floors right now in our kitchen.
No kitchen means no easy access to the basement.

If I want to go down stairs I have to go out the front door walk around and in through the back.
Not much fun with these crummy days we have been having.

I did get some in this past weekend though and that is what I am going to share with you.

This is one of my new Itty Bitty's that is also co-branded with Cosmo Cricket.
I love this stamp and was so excited to use it with Cosmo's paper.
You can get this great stamp over at Unity
Isn't it just great!!

I hope you have a great weekend and I hope the weather stays warm so I can walk to my basement.

Last day of Spring Break is great with Friends with Flair!!

Happy Friday to the cyber craft world. Today is the last day of my spring break and let me tell you I sure could get used to this. Crafting at any time of the day for however long I want. I have been telling my husband that he needs a better job so I can stay home. He's not so sure about that.

Anyway have you checked out My Unity Place yet?
It was such a great idea for them to put us all in one place.

For today's card I incorporated 2 of Unity's challenges. The bird challenge which is on Unity's website and the second is the Inside and Out challenge found @ My Unity Place

Here you have it!
the outside of the card...

and the inside of the card!

I used some great stuff to make this card.

and Ippity stamp that you can get from me
I absolutely LOVE those birds.  I use them in so many cards from Birthday to just because.

More goodies on this card include
This great paper that I just bought at a local craft store by Collage Press called Hometown Summer

The letters are from Adorn it.  I got those from my lss for only .99.  Love them!
I used some blue chalk ink and black archival ink on the dog and birds.
I colored using my Prismacolor pencils.

There you have it! I hope you like it!
Have a wonderful Friday and a very blessed Easter!

Spring Break is in Full Swing!

Since I have extra time with being on spring break I though I would post a couple of my cards that got the big "REJECT" from Paper Crafts magazine.  The competition is pretty fierce out there so I didn't take it personally.  I am happy with all but one card so enjoy.

Both of these cards were created from sketches.  Both use Unity stamps.

Hope you are enjoying your week.

Unity with a Fashion Spin!

Unity's monthly challenge...

FASHION FORWARD.

SPRING into FASHION using ONLY UNITY or IPPITY stamps!
(by creating a fashion themed card, layout, or 3d project!)

So my latest craze is using bottle caps to make necklaces.
I absolutely love this stamp -
it is actaully 3 beatiful shoes but I could only use one.
so I decided to use it!!
and here is what I came up with.

I hope you like it and that it inspires you
to create something
fabulous!!

Have a great weekend.

Owl Be Darned!

Over the next week of so I will be sharing some cards that I made for a magazine that didn't get accepted.

Here is one using one of my many Unity Stamp Sets -
What a Hoot
by Samantha Walker.

I cut out the owl and adhered some gems for the eyes.  My sentiment is heat embossed.

Here is the complete set!

Make sure to come back as I have more to share!

Happy Monday!
