Happy Hip Hop Friday!!

So I decided to attempt a video tutorial but it ended up being 11 minutes long so hence no tutorial yet!!
Just because there is no tutorial doesn't mean I can't show you what I made.

The first attempt was this card.

Sorry it's not the best photo in the world but for now it will have to do.

I used Unity/Echo Park Stamp set Boys will be Boys along with the Echo Park paper in that line.
My paper is PI along with my ribbon.
Here is that great stamp set!

So then I tried another card - First I made it and then I videoed a second one... which one do you prefer?

Here is the first one I made. I used all 4 of the challenges for this month's ippity challenge.

Here I decided to try a different route and made the red layer1 and embossed the black with white ep.
I used my copic glitter pens on both.

So which one do you prefer?

A Little Ippity Love!

I am loving the Ippity Monthly challenges!

I used these great stamp sets

The large heart is from the Tim Holtz line I used some white paint and brushed it onto the edges to give it that softer look.

How about some Mojo Monday on a Saturday!!!

I'm avoiding doing laundry and a project for school but does it really matter
the outcome is a couple of great cards!!! 

I used the Mojo Monday Sketch

With the Ippity Color Challenge for the week!! 

and this is what I came up with!! 

After I made this card I realized I made a big boo boo

I didn't use Ippity stamps, just Unity

but that's okay 

why?

because it gave me an excuse to make another one!! 

To make this very simple card...

Paper - SU, American Crafts

Ink - color box lipstick red

Markers/Pens - Copic glitter pens & White gel pen

other: Tim Holtz stapler, pop up dimensionals

This card is really easy, a couple of cuts, a quick paper piercing, some stamping, gel pen work and you can put it all together!!

Remember that other one I was talking about... well here it is! 

AND I am Really HAPPY with this card!! 

Again, super easy!! 

I did use my ippity stamps this time

on the aqua I stamped and heat embossed this great background.

Just wanted to say hi

I picked up that butterfly at Michaels today and it works GREAT!! 

Again I used my gel pen, I just love that look especially on black paper

So there it is!!!

Hippity Hop Ippity style!!!

OMG!!! I am posting 2 days in a row!!! I can't believe it!

I have joined in on the fun over at Ippity. They are doing monthly challenges, revealing one challenge a week.  The first one is...

I am just loving this layout so I made 2 cards using it so far... who knows there may be more in my future but for now here are the ones I have made. 

Here is the first one

Stamps: Ippity - QUotes a'la Happy

Ink: Color Box Chalk - yellow citrius

Embossing powder Stampedeous white pearls on the sun

and Detail white for the sentiment

Paper: SU and PTI

Copics: Y15(Cadmium Yellow) & Y19 (Napoli Yellow)

This card was easy and took less than 1/2 hour!! 

Card #2 - using up scraps 

I decided to use up some of the same paper since it was sitting right there.  Again, very easy card that took no time at all!

Paper - SU & PTI

Ink Memento - rich cocoa

Versa mark on the hearts with Red EP from Juki Kins and Blue Wave Zing by AC

How about some Mojo Monday on a Sunday!

Here is my second post for today!! Yep Second!!! I think this is a first!!

Anyway I have my card for the Mojo Monday challenge!!

I decided to go with the round so I could use my Grand Spellbinder dies.  

 

I am so loving this card! I wasn't so sure about this sketch but am so happy with it now that I have completed it. 

So here is what I did

I used my Spellbinders grand die 

Love these!!! 

I also used a retired scrap-booking kit from SU - Crew Kids - Girl 

The flowers and brads are all SU

Ink is black for the socks and Chalk Box Maroon for the sentiment

The socks are colored in with various greens, grays and a pink copic marker

I popped up the socks with some dimensional pop dots from hobby lobby

There you have it. 

Life is too short to match socks! 

Hope you are enjoying/have enjoyed the game today. I am a Bears fan so it's hard to watch the game knowing we were to close. Maybe next year :)
