Summer Thank You

So I joined a summer card class and the first week has a color challenge.  I am really inspired by the amazing talent of the instructors and the participants.

So I decided to combine this with color challenge with Unity's Kit of the Month Challenge
They give you the sketch and you use a stamp(s) from the
MANY to choose from in the Kits we receive every month.

So this is what I came up with

This card is relatively easy to make, if you like to color.  That is really the only time consuming part.

I used
Papertray Paper - Spring Rain and Rasberry Fizz
Designer Paper - JilliBean Soup - Watermel Gaspacho
Markers - Copics, Spica and Slingo White Gell
Die - Spellbinders
Stamps - June Kit of the Month-  Unity Stamp Company

There you have it!
Enjoy and have a great SUMMER!!!

till next time

A little lemonade anyone??

Life isn't perfect, we all know that
so when life throws you lemons...
make lemonade!

I created this card for Unity's Monthly Challenge which was to use fruit!!

I added some glossy accents to the pitcher and the lemon.

Hope you like it and are having a great Sunday!

Friends with Flair and My Birthday... What can be better than this?

Well today is my birthday. I sooooo don't feel my age.
I still feel 28, not 38.
Life is good and getting better every day!

Today I am going to share a card I made for the Kit of the Month challenge.

I am loving the colors!

I used copic glitter pens to color the cake and then ranger pearls for the base.  I used my Jillibean Soup paper that I LOVE!!

Make sure to check out the amazing talent over at the Unity Blog!

You can also get in on the action and get your Kit every month.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and enjoys the holiday!

till next time

I used this itty bitty for this card.
Are they not the cutest chicks or what.

Here is what I did with them.

I stamped and cut out the chicks. I colored them using my copic glitter pens.
This card was so easy and so fun!!

Have a great Mothers Day to all you moms out there!!

Happy Birthday Girl Friend!

Well I haven't had a whole lot of time in the craft room.

You see it's in my basement and my husband is re-doing our hardwood floors right now in our kitchen.
No kitchen means no easy access to the basement.

If I want to go down stairs I have to go out the front door walk around and in through the back.
Not much fun with these crummy days we have been having.

I did get some in this past weekend though and that is what I am going to share with you.

This is one of my new Itty Bitty's that is also co-branded with Cosmo Cricket.
I love this stamp and was so excited to use it with Cosmo's paper.
You can get this great stamp over at Unity
Isn't it just great!!

I hope you have a great weekend and I hope the weather stays warm so I can walk to my basement.
