Hippity Ippity Hop with a little love!

Happy Monday Ippity Stlye!  Since it is the season of LOVE I decided to use my amazing Ippity sets with hearts.  I went with the Straight from the heart and Becuase of you sets. I just love these sets.  I used the Love stamp on the left side of my card and the Hello stamps for my sentiment.  I also used the Heart from Straight from the heart set on the background and at my main heart with bling! I adorned this heart with 3 different colors of rhinestones that I got at Michael's today. They are 40% off!!! Thank go because it took a lot little rhinestones.  I think it was 52 in all.  I like it but don't think I will be doing it again.  I used two different colors of pink and the black.  I like red and black together so I thought I would give it a try.  The pink heart in the middle is from Martha Stewart embellishments that I bought last week when they were on sale.

Now for the rest of the card. I used SU paper and ribbon. If you look closely the white paper is actually shimmery white. I also used my pink and clear copic glitter pens to add some glitter to the hearts.  The ink is all colorbox chalk inks. I am really loving the coverage with these inks. I scored on a bunch of full pads from Tuesday morning a while back and have purchased some more colors with a 50% coupon from Michael's (those cat eye sets).

Well I think that is about it.I hope you like my card and don't forget to check out all of the other talent today!

Don't forget that you can get these amazing stamps from me by checking it out right here!  Just ask your self, Have I seized my Ippity yet?  Well if you said no, what are you waiting for!

Today is also MLK Day so as a teacher I have the day off!!! I hope to get some crafting done and hope you have a wonderful week!

You're One of a Kind! with Friends of course!

Happy Friday ladies. Here is a card I made for my students to give to another teacher who is teaching them a special reading program.  She decided to take them out to dinner and a movie.  I told the kids that I would make them a card to give to her as a thank you.
I hope you like it.  I cased it from Cards magazine November issue. The card was titled Simplicity by Julie Campbell.

Make sure to check out the Unity Sale going on! It's HUGE!

Have a great Friday!

Raspberry Suite Challenge with Style!

Dawn McVey is hosting another great Raspberry Suite Challenge! I just love the color choices in all of her challenges! This one includes soft yellow, light aqua, chocolate and cream.

So I have this new stamp from Unity and I just had to use it!  I had so much fun with this card.  This wonderful stamp is in the Treasure to Me stamp set. It was only available for a short time and then... not until CHA!

Here is a close up of this great stamp! I used some Basic Grey paper from teh Lemonade collection for the dress... isn't it cute?  I just love it. I also used some of my copic glitter pens and some generic ones to color the accessories.  I used a copic to color the "chest".  I also cut out the bottom sash and the sash around the waist from the lemon tart paper from Papertry ink. I used the yellow glitter pen from copic to give it a litlle bling.  All my other papers are Papertry ink too (dark chocolate and aqua mist).  I used the french script bg stamp from SU to creat a background. I heat embossed it with clear ep.  My ribbon is martha stewart.

Well I hope you enjoy my latest.  I am hoping to get into my craft area more often once our new windows are installed. We are looking at the Friday so hopefully the basement will be a bit warmer. It gets rather cold down there seeing it's unfinished.  My wonderful husband promises me this will make a difference.

That's it for now! Have a great week!

It's a Unity kind of day!

I can't believe that it has been almost a month since my last post. Things have been relaxing yet crazy with the holidays. One might think that being a teacher and having a week and a half off of school I would have time to craft.... HA! no such thing. I was traveling to visit family and upon our return we cleaned out our basement. We are awaiting new windows for the basement so we needed to make sure they could get them without destroying anything. You see my craft area is also in the basement which meant this was a great opportunity to reorganize. It's amazing how much stuff we can accumulate over the years. My goodness do I have a TON of dp.

Anyway, I made this great little card for this post but never got it uploaded to my computer. Instead I am sharing with you a card I made for the Ippity dt opportunity.

Materials needed: Kraft paper, Red glitter, heart punch, glitter pen, brown, blue, red and green inks and glitter pens.

For the glitter frame I cut the size I wanted out of heavier card stock (I used the white board that comes with the SU DP to keep it flat). I then used a glue pen and made an outline with the glue. Lastly I tossed the glitter on and had my frame. I did have to go back and apply some additional to certain bare spots but no big deal.

Well I have to get going. I hope you have fun hopping around!
